Huuuge Games

Huuuge Games is a free-to-play mobile game developer and publisher focused on social casino and casual games. Its portfolio is built around persistent, social play: real-time multiplayer systems enable players to chat, join clubs and compete in virtual leagues, while live operations support ongoing events, content and player engagement.

The company traces its roots to Finnish mobile developer Gamelion, founded by Anton Gauffin in 2002. After reacquiring Gamelion in 2014, Gauffin refocused the business on real-time social multiplayer games and rebranded it as Huuuge Games. Huuuge, Inc., the Delaware holding company, was incorporated in 2015 and is publicly traded on the Warsaw Stock Exchange under the ticker HUG.

Its best-known franchises are Huuuge Casino and Billionaire Casino, social casino titles launched in 2015 and 2016 respectively. The studio has also expanded its catalogue through games including Traffic Puzzle: Car Jam Escape, Stars Slots - Casino Games, Dominos Party - Classic Domino, Bowling Clash: New Legends, Bow Land, Rollercoaster Dash, and legacy Gamelion releases such as Monster Shooter, League of Heroes and Hazumi.

Development and live-service focus

Huuuge develops and publishes proprietary titles in-house, combining mobile game development with publishing, user acquisition, app-store optimisation, in-game economy balancing and customer lifecycle operations. Its technical focus includes proprietary real-time multiplayer networking and the CLAW MMO/mobile technology platform.

The company’s commercial model centres on first-party games, live services and direct-to-consumer player loyalty operations. It has phased out third-party external publishing and custom contract-development work in order to concentrate on its own portfolio. Its games serve a global audience across more than 170 countries, with North America representing its largest revenue region, followed by Europe and Asia-Pacific.

Following its 2021 Warsaw Stock Exchange listing, Huuuge diversified through the acquisition of Playable Platform and the assets of the casual title Traffic Puzzle. More recently, it has consolidated its studio infrastructure and operates with a hybrid working arrangement across its development, technology, publishing and corporate functions.
