Huevocartoon

Studio Overview

Huevocartoon is a prominent Latin American animation studio specializing in the development and production of 2D and 3D/CGI animated feature films, episodic streaming series, and commercial content. Founded in 2001, the studio gained initial fame through its viral, satirical Flash-animated web shorts featuring anthropomorphic eggs, which evolved into a multi-platform entertainment brand. Today, the studio operates as a full-service production house, managing the entire creative pipeline from visual development and storyboarding to animation, audio post-production, and IP licensing.

Production Capabilities

The studio maintains a versatile production model capable of executing both traditional 2D hand-drawn animation and modern 3D CGI workflows. Beyond its proprietary feature film slate, Huevocartoon provides animation services for corporate advertising campaigns and engages in international co-productions. Its work is characterized by a distinct comedic style and strong character-driven narratives that have achieved significant commercial success in the Mexican theatrical market and across global streaming platforms.

Strategic Operations

Huevocartoon operates from two primary locations in Mexico. Its corporate headquarters in Mexico City serves as the administrative and legal base, while its dedicated CGI production facility in Querétaro—established in partnership with the Tecnológico de Monterrey—functions as the primary hub for its 3D feature film and series pipelines. This integration allows the studio to combine professional production requirements with academic-industry collaboration, supporting the growth of local animation talent.
