Golden Wolf

Golden Wolf is an animation studio and creative agency founded in London in 2013 by Ingi Erlingsson. Its work combines graphic design, irreverent humour, psychedelia and dynamic character animation across commercial advertising, branded entertainment and narrative projects. The studio maintains a production presence in London and New York, following its expansion into the United States in September 2018.

The studio works across hand-drawn and vector animation, 3D CGI, motion graphics and mixed-media direction. Its production services span concept development, creative and art direction, storyboarding, animatics, visual development, character design, rigging, animation, visual effects and compositing. Sound integration and music curation also form part of its production offering.

Animation across screens and spaces

Golden Wolf creates commercial campaigns, broadcast identities, title sequences, music videos and entertainment content. Its work also extends into augmented and virtual reality, experiential installations and large-scale out-of-home animation. These formats connect its character-led visual approach with projects designed for television, digital platforms, interactive media and public displays.

The studio serves advertising agencies, entertainment companies, television networks, games businesses and music labels, alongside brands in sportswear, consumer technology and digital entertainment. Its supplied portfolio includes animated game trailers, footwear campaigns, station identities, immersive concert visuals and promotional animation for major entertainment properties. This breadth reflects a practice spanning both short-form brand communication and longer narrative production.

Company development

Doodles acquired Golden Wolf in January 2023, beginning a period that included original animated projects for the entertainment franchise. In May 2025, Golden Wolf expanded its audio activity by co-founding the sister music and sound design studio Take Your Medicine with electronic producer Phonat.

On 15 June 2026, Golden Wolf and Take Your Medicine joined Psyop Media Group, an independent global collective of specialist studios. Golden Wolf continues to operate as a distinct animation studio, combining its own production capabilities with access to a wider creative network.
