Glitch Productions

Glitch Productions is an Australian independent animation studio and creator-led digital media company. Founded in 2017 by brothers Kevin Lerdwichagul and Luke Lerdwichagul, the studio grew from Luke’s SMG4 machinima series into a producer of original animated intellectual property for global online and streaming audiences.

The company develops work across 3D CGI, real-time rendering, traditional 2D animation, visual development, and episodic digital storytelling. Its full production pipeline encompasses pre-production, modelling, rigging, layout, animation, lighting, FX, compositing, editing, sound design, distribution, and consumer-product activity.

Original series and creator partnerships

Glitch’s catalogue includes SMG4, Meta Runner, Sunset Paradise, Murder Drones, and The Amazing Digital Circus. Meta Runner helped establish the studio’s use of Unreal Engine for serialized narrative animation, while The Amazing Digital Circus became a major global release following its 2023 debut.

The studio operates through two principal creative banners:

• Glitch Originals, for in-house intellectual property
• Glitch Presents, which finances, produces, and distributes projects with external independent showrunners

Glitch Presents titles include The Gaslight District, Knights of Guinevere, and Gameoverse.

Distribution and franchise development

Glitch distributes work directly through digital platforms including YouTube and has pursued streaming distribution with Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. The company also extends its franchises through merchandising, collectibles, apparel, licensing, e-commerce, and fan events. Its FinalFinal_Project division supports merchandise design, manufacturing, and direct-to-consumer operations for Glitch properties as well as selected independent partner properties.

The studio’s approach combines creator-led development with direct audience distribution and franchise management, supporting animated series from initial concept through production, release, and consumer products.
