About Future Associate
Future Associate is an independent visual effects studio based in Marrickville, Sydney, Australia. Founded in 2018 by VFX supervisor Lindsay Adams, it produces effects for feature films and episodic television, serving international studio productions, streaming originals and Australian screen projects. Future Associate’s portfolio includes Boy Swallows Universe, for which it delivered 350 shots across seven episodes, including procedural smoke lettering, flying-vehicle dream sequences and a CG blue wren. On Heartbreak High Season 2, its work included photorealistic fire and smoke for the school-burning sequences. Its contribution to Nautilus Season 1 encompassed ocean-water looks and fire simulations.
Feature-film work spans creature animation and burning-head effects for Dark Harvest, fluid simulation and a car crash for The Equalizer 3, and period environments and vehicles for Elvis. Other projects include Monkey Man, In Vitro, The Portable Door and Nope. The supplied portfolio also includes Mortal Kombat II, The Bluff, The Mongoose and Tenzing, with contributions ranging from environmental reconstruction and Himalayan set extensions to ship, water, vehicle and fire effects.

Leadership and experience
Lindsay Adams is Founder & Head of Studio. Before establishing the company, he accumulated more than twenty years of experience at Animal Logic, Weta Digital, Industrial Light & Magic, MPC, Method Studios and Rising Sun Pictures. Production model and infrastructure
