About Fusebox Games

Fusebox Games is a London-based mobile game developer and publisher focused on narrative-driven, choice-based interactive fiction. Operating through Fusebox Games Ltd, the studio builds episodic free-to-play games that combine branching storytelling, character-led visual design, live operations and in-app monetisation for mobile audiences.

Narrative games built around licensed entertainment

The studio is best known for adapting established television and reality formats into interactive mobile experiences. Its breakout title, Love Island: The Game, launched in 2018 through a licensing partnership with ITV Studios and became the foundation for a long-running series of interactive seasons and related releases.

Fusebox has expanded that licensing-led approach through collaborations with entertainment-rights holders including Fremantle, Banijay Rights and All3Media International. Its work spans official games based on Love Island, Big Brother, Bigg Boss, The X Factor and The Traitors, alongside original-style narrative titles such as Love Villa: Choose Your Story, Matchmaker: Puzzles & Stories and Love Royale.

Core capabilities

  • Full-cycle mobile game development for iOS and Android
  • Interactive narrative design and branching scriptwriting
  • Episodic content production and live-ops updates
  • Licensed-IP adaptation and brand co-development
  • 2D visual design, character art and free-to-play mobile mechanics

Founded in 2016, Fusebox developed its practice around combining television-format licensing with player-choice storytelling. In August 2024, Nazara Technologies acquired a 100% equity stake in Fusebox Games Ltd, placing the studio within Nazara's gaming and sports-media group while retaining Fusebox's focus on Western interactive-narrative games and television adaptations.

The company remains active and continues to develop and publish mobile narrative games for global audiences.
