About Fuse Games

Fuse Games is an independent AAA video game developer creating player-first interactive entertainment for PC and current-generation consoles. Formed operationally in January 2023 and publicly announced that March, the Guildford-based studio was established by former Criterion Games and Electronic Arts leaders with experience spanning game development, production, technology, art and operations.

The studio focuses on combining responsive game feel, blockbuster-scale presentation and social gameplay features. Its development capabilities cover the full production cycle, including game design, software engineering, art direction, 3D environment and character assets, cinematics, audio design and production management. Unreal Engine development, high-performance vehicle physics, action and racing design, multiplayer systems, original IP and licensed-universe development are among its supported specialties.

Debut project

Fuse Games is developing STAR WARS: Galactic Racer™, an arcade racing-combat adventure set in the Star Wars Outer Rim. Developed in Unreal Engine in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games, the title is published by Secret Mode Limited under licence from Lucasfilm Games. The project was revealed at The Game Awards in December 2025, went gold in August 2026, and was scheduled for a multi-platform release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC on October 6, 2026.

Studio approach

The company operates as a single-studio developer with a hybrid working model. Its Guildford headquarters provides the base for in-studio engineering, narrative, design and audio work, while the business also works with external co-development partners. By early 2026, the internal team had grown from its five founders to more than 75 people, supported by external partner-studio developers.

Fuse Games remains independently operated and has received venture funding from Griffin Gaming Partners, Actera Group, NFX and Lakestar. The company’s stated ambition is to build genre-leading AAA games around player-centric innovation, self-expression, creativity and shared social play.
