About Fair Play Labs
Fair Play Labs is an independent Costa Rican game developer and digital interactive production studio. Founded in 2006, it develops original games and provides full-cycle co-development, engineering, art production, porting, optimization, and team augmentation for global publishers.
Its work spans the complete game-development lifecycle, from early concepts, prototyping, design, and narrative through programming, art, QA-oriented production support, platform certification, and release. The studio works across Unreal Engine and Unity, with capabilities in C++, Blueprints, shaders, custom tools, build automation, 2D and 3D art, animation, visual effects, UI/UX, and multiplayer-service integration.
Game development capabilities

- Console, PC, and mobile engineering, porting, and performance optimization

The studio has developed games across action-platformer, party-game, and competitive-fighting genres, while also emphasizing accessible, non-violent interactive entertainment for players “from 8 to 80.” Its original projects include Color Guardians and the in-development cyber-Greek-punk life-simulator and deckbuilding RPG Life & Strife.
Fair Play Labs has also contributed to licensed and collaborative productions including Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2, G.I. Joe: Operation Blackout, Nicktoons & The Dice of Destiny, and SpeedRunners 2: King of Speed. Its earlier catalogue includes Chuck's Challenge 3D, WackyLands Green, and WackyLands Boss, reflecting a history that extends from mobile and portable releases to multiplatform console development.
As an independently owned studio, Fair Play Labs combines original-IP ambitions with production partnerships, technical support, and art services for entertainment and game-industry clients.
