Escape Pod Games is an independent video game development studio based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Founded by industry veterans Lynda Mills and Stephen Mander-Jones, the studio focuses on the creation of original intellectual property for the global PC and console markets. The team leverages extensive experience in AAA game design and stylized art production to develop immersive, interactive experiences.

Core Development

The studio is currently in active production on its debut title, Astroverse, a cooperative space survival game. This project is supported by the Australian federal government through the Screen Australia Games Production Fund. The studio operates as a lean, agile team, scaling its production capacity through strategic contract partnerships with specialized artists and designers within the Victorian games industry.

Leadership

• Lynda Mills (Creative Director & Co-founder): A veteran artist formerly of Blue Tongue Entertainment, known for her contributions to the de Blob series.
• Stephen Mander-Jones (Game Director & Co-founder): An experienced designer with a background at 2K Australia and Trickstar Games, having contributed to titles such as Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel and Damage Inc. Pacific Squadron WWII.
