About DUSK

DUSK is a full-service visual effects and post-production studio headquartered in Paris, France. Operating under the legal entity IMAGE IN WORK, the studio has evolved since its 2012 founding—formerly known as IIW Studio—to become a specialized provider for feature films, episodic streaming series, and high-end commercial advertising. In 2021, the company expanded its capabilities by establishing a 600-square-meter facility that integrates its VFX operations with an in-house digital image laboratory, LUX.

Core Capabilities

The studio provides end-to-end production support, ranging from pre-production and on-set supervision to final delivery. Its technical expertise includes:

• VFX Production: Complex 3D/CG creation, dynamic simulations (fire, water, destruction), and advanced 2D/3D compositing.
• Technical Services: Previsualization, LiDAR and drone terrain scanning, and photogrammetry for digital asset creation.
• Post-Production: Integrated digital intermediate (DI) and color grading services, featuring 4K-HDR Dolby Vision suites and a prestige cinema grading suite equipped with Christie DCI 2K projection.
• International Support: The studio acts as a French Production Services Company (PSC) to assist international productions in accessing the French Tax Rebate for International Productions (TRIP).

Facilities

Located in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris, the studio’s facility is designed to support a seamless post-production workflow. The space includes a 100-square-meter open-plan VFX floor for artists and technical directors, alongside six dedicated picture-editing suites connected via a shared Avid Nexis network. By housing both creative VFX talent and technical laboratory infrastructure under one roof, DUSK maintains high-quality control over the entire finishing process for its clients.
