About Digital Sun Games
Digital Sun Games is an independent video game developer founded in Valencia, Spain, in 2013 by Javier Giménez and Rubén Picó. The studio develops original games while also undertaking selected external-IP adaptation and co-development work through its Digital Sun Forge division.
The team first gained international recognition with Moonlighter, a hybrid action RPG and shopkeeping game that combines dungeon exploration, rogue-lite systems and merchant management. Published by 11 bit studios in 2018, the title was followed by the Moonlighter: Between Dimensions expansion.
Its subsequent work includes The Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story, a top-down 2D pixel-art action RPG developed with Riot Forge; Cataclismo, a fortress-building real-time strategy and tactical-defense game; and Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault, a stylized 3D action-adventure sequel. The studio is also working on the original title ReVamp and provides ongoing co-development support for Empyrion – Galactic Survival through Digital Sun Forge.
