CI Games

CI Games is an independent, publicly traded video game developer and publisher established in 2002. The Warsaw-headquartered company creates premium action-RPGs and tactical first-person shooters, while publishing games internationally across PC and console platforms.

Its history began with the consolidation of Lemon Interactive, We Open Eyes and Tatanka under the City Interactive name. After an initial period focused on budget releases, the company shifted toward premium AA+ and AAA productions following the commercial success of Sniper: Ghost Warrior. It adopted the CI Games brand in 2013 and became a European Public Company, CI Games SE, in 2023.

Games and publishing

CI Games' flagship franchises are Sniper Ghost Warrior and Lords of the Fallen. The former centres on tactical sniping and first-person combat, while the latter is a dark-fantasy action-RPG series. Its catalogue also includes Alien Rage, Enemy Front, Sniper Ghost Warrior 3, Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts, Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2, and the 2023 Lords of the Fallen.

The company also publishes independent games through United Label, its subsidiary label. United Label's releases include Röki, Eldest Souls, Tails of Iron, and Tails of Iron 2: Whiskers of Winter.

Development capabilities

CI Games provides full-cycle game development spanning pre-production, design, programming, animation and quality assurance. Its production work includes Unreal Engine 5 development alongside proprietary pipelines, multi-region co-development, global publishing, and physical and digital retail distribution.

Internal production is organised around Underdog Studio, which focuses on FPS and action development, and HEXWORKS, the action-RPG team behind the 2023 Lords of the Fallen. The company is developing a further Lords of the Fallen sequel, referred to in research as Project 3 or Death of the Fallen.

With a hybrid and distributed workforce across Europe and North America, CI Games combines internal development with global publishing and commercial operations for international video-game markets.
