BOL Creative Production House is a Barcelona-based creative studio and production agency that specializes in high-end animation and design. Operating as a hybrid production entity, the studio bridges the gap between bespoke in-house creative direction and a global network of specialized artistic talent. The studio is defined by its "CRAFT ALWAYS" philosophy, prioritizing meticulous, human-led artistry over high-volume, automated production methods.

Operational Model

BOL functions as a curator of visual talent. While core creative strategy, narrative development, storyboarding, and project management are handled by the internal team in Barcelona, the studio scales its execution by collaborating with an exclusive, curated roster of international directors and illustrators. This decentralized approach allows the studio to maintain agility and aesthetic diversity, enabling seamless transitions between 2D cel animation, 3D CGI, stop-motion, and mixed-media projects.

In response to the rise of generative AI, BOL has established a formal, human-centric production mandate. The studio utilizes technology exclusively as a supplementary tool to enhance human creativity, ensuring that all definitive creative decisions remain with human directors and artists. Studio Environment

Located in the Poblenou innovation district of Barcelona, the studio occupies a 350-square-meter industrial attic space. Designed by Isern Serra, the office features an open-plan layout that removes traditional hierarchies. The space is anchored by a central architectural cube clad in white ceramic tiles with green grout, a design choice intended to serve as a physical representation of digital pixels, reinforcing the studio's identity as a collaborative "house" for creative production.
