About Atomic Arts
Atomic Arts is a visual effects, animation and virtual-production studio founded in London in 1994. Working across feature films, episodic television, streaming productions and commercials, it combines creative development, on-set supervision and post-production for filmmakers and production partners.
Its work spans the VFX process from concept design, storyboards, pre-visualization and technical visualization through compositing, paint and prep, matchmoving, modelling, texturing, rigging, lighting and rendering. The studio also creates CGI characters, creatures, digital doubles, environments, digital matte paintings, set extensions and complex effects simulations including water, fire, pyro, destruction and particle work.
Production approach
Atomic Arts supports projects from planning through delivery, with services including sequence planning, post-visualization and on-set VFX supervision. Its virtual-production capability includes real-time camera-performance rehearsal, rapid revisions to digital assets and sets, editorial playback, and digital pre-shooting passes.
The company also incorporates internally developed machine-learning tools into selected production tasks. Supported applications include continuity fixes, face replacement, digital-double generation, costume and wardrobe adjustments that preserve actor performances, and background replacement using models operated on local secure infrastructure.
