ASTRA9 Studio is an internal game development division of the South Korean publisher and developer NEOWIZ Corp. Operating as part of NEOWIZ's multi-studio production model, the studio focuses on creating original, narrative-driven titles for global PC and console markets. The studio is defined by a development philosophy that prioritizes the player's perspective, aiming to craft immersive experiences that resonate as personal favorites.

Development Focus

ASTRA9 Studio specializes in high-quality, story-centric gaming experiences. Its current production pipeline includes:

• Project Rubicon: A narrative-driven RPG designed for global PC and console audiences, featuring deep character storytelling and stylized 3D environment art.
• Project CF: A life simulation title characterized by a warm, charming aesthetic and narrative-driven quest design.

Technology & Workflow

The studio utilizes the Unity engine, specifically leveraging the Universal Render Pipeline (URP) to achieve its visual goals. The team employs a robust suite of industry-standard tools, including Autodesk 3ds Max, Blender, ZBrush, and Adobe Substance 3D Painter. Development workflows are supported by Git-based version control, ensuring efficient collaboration across complex 3D asset production, modular architectural design, and cinematic lighting.

As an internal studio within NEOWIZ Corp., ASTRA9 Studio benefits from the resources and infrastructure of its parent company, which has been a prominent figure in the gaming industry since 1997. All ASTRA9 team members operate on-site at the NEOWIZ Pangyo Tower in Seongnam, South Korea, contributing to a collaborative environment alongside other specialized NEOWIZ studios such as NOUGH Studio and Rocky Studio.
