Arch Channel Group

Studio Overview

Arch Channel Group is an independent digital animation studio and media production network based in the Netherlands. The studio specializes in the production of high-quality, 2D animated educational content and long-form video essays. Operating primarily through its flagship YouTube channel, Historically, the studio delivers dramatized historical narratives, while its Arch channel focuses on deep-dive gaming analysis and media culture commentary.

Production Pipeline

The studio maintains a structured, human-centric production pipeline that emphasizes original artistry over automated generation. Their signature visual style features minimalist "Doodlies"—stylized cartoon characters—set against detailed, 4K hand-painted historical environments and custom cartographic sequences. The production process is highly collaborative, involving a distributed team of storyboard artists, illustrators, and VFX specialists who work asynchronously to produce content that balances educational rigor with comedic visual storytelling.
