About AMGI Studios
AMGI Studios is an independent creative-technology, animation and video-game development studio founded in 2019. Working at the intersection of character animation, real-time game engines and artificial intelligence, it develops original entertainment properties as well as commercial animation and interactive work.
The studio’s work is built around a proprietary five-step production pipeline in Unreal Engine 5 that combines real-time rendering, live digital puppeteering, AI-assisted performance capture and motion-capture techniques. AMGI applies this approach to episodic media, commercials, music videos, games and interactive character experiences, with an emphasis on shortening traditional animation production timelines while retaining feature-quality character performance.
Interactive entertainment and original IP
AMGI develops games and transmedia franchises alongside its animation work. Its flagship property, My Pet Hooligan, is a free-to-play PvP and PvE third-person shooter made in Unreal Engine 5 and distributed through the Epic Games Store. The franchise has expanded through the $HOOLI brand token and the animated companion mini-series Hell or High Hooli.
Its original and commercial work also includes:
- immi, an AI-powered real-time animation application for digital-avatar and NFT puppeteering
- Click Zero, an interactive agent platform with DAO governance tools
- Da Hamstas and Sparkle, original character-animation projects
- Real-time character animation and live-action integration for Coldplay and BTS’s “My Universe” music video
- Little Kaiju Finds a Bug, an Unreal Engine real-time showcase produced with Epic Games
Capabilities
AMGI offers real-time animation production, full-cycle game development, interactive AI-character and avatar integrations, motion and facial-capture technical services, virtual-world creation, and IP licensing and merchandising. Its work spans animation and entertainment, video games and esports, advertising and music-video production, Web3 and interactive media, and AI-enabled commerce.
