About Amazon MGM Studios
Amazon MGM Studios develops, produces and distributes feature films and television programming for worldwide audiences. Founded in November 2010 as Amazon Studios, the business initially operated as a crowdsourced script submission initiative before developing into a film and television production studio. Amazon completed its acquisition of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer in March 2022. Following the integration of operations, the studio adopted the Amazon MGM Studios name on October 3, 2023.
Production and distribution

The studio's television portfolio includes The Boys, Fallout, Reacher, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. Its film work includes Manchester by the Sea, Sound of Metal, Air and Saltburn.
Based in Culver City, California, the company maintains production and development operations in New York and London. Its physical production infrastructure includes soundstages, creative offices, post-production facilities and virtual production capabilities, supporting both domestic and international film and television work.
