About Altagram
Altagram is an international video game localization, multilingual audio production, and quality-assurance provider founded in 2013. Working exclusively within interactive entertainment, the company supports independent developers, AA studios, and AAA publishers with tailored language and production services for PC, console, mobile, and VR releases.
Its localization work covers translation, editing, proofreading, and in-game text adaptation in more than 60 languages. Altagram also provides culturalization services to help games resonate appropriately across regional markets, alongside multimedia localization for subtitles, dubbing, websites, press materials, packaging, manuals, and comics.
Audio, Voice and Testing
Altagram combines localization with multilingual voiceover production. Its services include voice casting, recording, sound engineering, voice direction, post-production, and motion-capture support. The company draws on a large international voice-talent network for productions in more than 30 languages.
Its QA offering spans several stages of game testing:
- Linguistic QA (LQA) for localized text and player-facing language
- Functional QA (FQA) for gameplay and implementation testing
- Compliance QA (CQA) for platform requirements
Localization Technology
The company uses CAT-tool workflows, including memoQ-based terminology and translation-memory processes, alongside regex-based text segmentation. Its Alocai platform combines AI-assisted localization workflow management with human linguist review.
Altagram's work has included localization, voiceover, culturalization, and QA contributions for games such as Baldur's Gate 3, Black Myth: Wukong, Diablo IV, World of Warcraft, Life Is Strange: Double Exposure, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, Frostpunk 2, Dead by Daylight, Candy Crush Saga, Clash of Clans, and Ghostwire: Tokyo.
Operating as a privately held business, Altagram is led by founder and CEO Marie-Laurence Amigues. Its in-house team is supported by a global network of native-speaking linguistic specialists and voice performers, enabling scalable multilingual production for game releases.

Crediting practice
In 2023, following a crediting discrepancy involving freelance translators on the Brazilian Portuguese localization of Baldur's Gate 3, Altagram publicly apologized and created an Internal Crediting Committee. The company also adopted a formal Crediting Policy aligned with International Game Developers Association guidelines for recognition of in-house employees and external contributors.
