About Alden Studios

Alden Studios is a New York-based architectural and product visualization practice founded in 2018. The studio combines architectural design knowledge with CGI, digital-media, and visualization workflows adapted from feature-film and manufacturing pipelines for architecture, real estate, interiors, products, and luxury automotive work.

Its services span photorealistic interior, exterior, commercial, and aerial renderings; architectural animation and cinematic walkthroughs; product and furniture modelling; BIM conversion and Revit drafting; digital twins; virtual prototyping; and interactive real-estate marketing assets. The team also produces high-resolution imagery, with output cited up to 16K resolution.

Production approach

Alden Studios operates a proprietary Paradigital™ rolling-production workflow supported by a cloud collaboration platform. Its teams work across New York, Abu Dhabi, and Hong Kong, using time-zone handoffs to maintain a 24-hour production cycle and support rapid project progression and preview turnaround.

The studio's documented architectural visualization work includes:

  • 520 Fifth Avenue, created in collaboration with Pentagram and Robert A.M. Stern Architects
  • 200 West 88th Street and 237 East 77th Street residential developments in Manhattan
  • The New-York Historical Society expansion and The American LGBTQ+ Museum
  • 109 East 79th Street, Abu Dhabi Residence, The Thermal Club, and West Elm product and spatial imagery

Alden Studios also develops automotive CGI and concept-visualization work through its Alden Automotive division, including projects associated with Singer Vehicle Design, Mercedes-AMG, and Aston Martin.

The practice collaborates with architectural, design, real-estate, and marketing organizations, including Robert A.M. Stern Architects, Steven Harris Architects, CetraRuddy, and Pentagram.

  • Amir Karimpour is co-founder and principal. His background includes a Master of Architecture from Yale University and a Harvard Master in Design Studies focused on technology, robotics, and computational design; the report also notes that he has lectured at Yale and Pratt Institute.
