Alcyde Studio

Alcyde Studio is an independent French 3D CGI animation and visual-development collective founded in 2022 by visual directors and artists Antoine Charreyron, Florent Auguy, and Dorian Marchesin. Working across feature animation, series, game cinematics, and commercial creative direction, the studio develops stylized visual worlds with painterly art direction, cinematic staging, and high-fidelity CG execution.

The team combines visual development with production-focused animation expertise. Its work spans early creative definition through character creation, storyboarding, previsualization, art direction, and CG supervision, supporting both original projects and collaborative productions.

Alcyde’s approach brings together artistic and technical disciplines: the studio shapes a project’s visual language while supporting its translation into 3D production. Its services extend from concept and look development to character work, animation directing, and real-time or DCC pipeline art direction.

Projects in development and production

A central international collaboration is Baahubali: The Eternal War, a two-part animated feature directed by Ishan Shukla. Alcyde was recruited to help define the project’s core visual style and look-of-picture, contributing character design, storyboards, 3D action previsualization, and animation direction alongside an international group of production partners.

The studio also develops original and long-form animated projects. These include H.E.R.A.K.L.E.S., an 8x30-minute animated series in development, and an animated adaptation of La Brigade Chimérique (The Chimera Brigade) being developed with Fédération Studios, screenwriter Guillaume Lemans, and Zaratan Studios.

Operating as a boutique collective, Alcyde combines a core team with freelance and intermittent animation artists as projects require. Its creative focus is rooted in contemporary stylized animation, visual storytelling, and collaborative production for film, television, games, and branded work.
