About Alchemy Immersive
Alchemy Immersive is a London-based immersive factual-entertainment studio creating virtual, augmented and mixed-reality experiences for cultural, educational and broadcast contexts. Launched in 2014 as Atlantic Productions’ dedicated virtual-reality arm under the name Alchemy VR, it now operates within the wider Atlantic Studios group and develops spatial stories that combine live action, CGI, interactive design and scientific subject matter.
Immersive production
The studio’s work spans VR, AR, MR and spatial computing, with capabilities including stereoscopic 3D and 8K production, photogrammetry, volumetric capture, 3D sound, audio localisation and interactive storytelling. Its services include headset application development for platforms such as Meta Quest, Apple Vision Pro and Magic Leap, mobile AR experiences, and technology integration for museum and touring exhibitions.
Alchemy Immersive has a particular focus on natural history, science and cultural heritage. It has collaborated with partners including Sir David Attenborough, the Natural History Museum, the Science Museum Group, Samsung, Meta Quest, Sky News and the British Royal Household to translate factual subjects into immersive formats.
