Agile Films

Agile Films is an independent London production company working across commercials, music videos, feature films, television and in-house post-production. Founded in 2003, it combines director representation, commercial production and long-form development with animation, visual effects, editorial and colour-grading capabilities.

The commercial division represents directors for advertising and music-video work, producing campaigns for brands including Apple, Adidas, Samsung, Old Spice, Nike, Kia, Bose and National Grid. Its music-video output includes work for artists such as P!nk, FKA Twigs, Oklou, Arctic Monkeys, Fontaines D.C., Lewis Capaldi, George Ezra and Elmiene. A 2024 transatlantic representation partnership with US production company JOJX expanded access to the American commercial market while enabling Agile to represent selected JOJX directors in the UK.

Production and post-production

Agile Studio, launched in 2020 as an internal creative banner, brings together 2D and 3D character animation, photorealistic CGI, visual identity, graphic and motion design, VFX supervision, offline editing and colour grading. These services sit alongside the company’s live-action production and creative-direction work, supporting projects from development through finishing.

Film and television

The company develops and co-produces scripted film and television alongside its advertising work. Its feature slate includes Michael Pearce’s Beast (2017), Sam H. Freeman and Ng Choon Ping’s Femme (2023), Cal McMau’s Wasteman, and the forthcoming features Stuffed and Stages. Earlier work also includes the documentary Next Goal Wins and Portrait of Kaye.

Agile’s long-form projects have worked with organisations and distributors including A24, Focus Features, Film4, the BFI, Lionsgate and Bankside Films. The company’s output spans distinctive auteur-led cinema, entertainment marketing and branded storytelling, with production, creative and finishing disciplines operating as part of the same business.
