Afterglow Studios

Afterglow Studios is an emerging independent animation production house focused on original, mature, character-driven storytelling. Based around a lean, remote-capable creative model, the studio develops animated intellectual property with an emphasis on expressive performance, atmospheric visual direction, and narrative worldbuilding.

Its work centers on 2D character animation and original-series development rather than high-volume commercial production. The studio’s creative process combines concept development, writing, visual development, storyboarding, animatics, and animation production, drawing on a distributed network of freelance artists and creative contributors as projects move through production.

Original series development

The studio’s flagship property is MYTH WATCH, an original 2D animated cyberpunk series set in Canvic City. The project combines anime-inspired visual sensibilities with neon-lit science-fiction environments, while its storytelling focuses on psychological conflict, interpersonal relationships, second chances, and found-family dynamics.

Afterglow Studios is developing a polished proof-of-concept dialogue sequence for the series. The sequence is intended to demonstrate subtle character acting, believable body language, dramatic timing, and the project’s narrative tone. It is also planned as a key asset for a future crowdfunding campaign intended to support full-season episodic production.
