ACHT

ACHT is a German visual-effects, animation and digital post-production studio established in 2003. Serving advertising, automotive, entertainment and broadcast work, it combines live-action finishing with CG production, design and real-time production capabilities for commercial campaigns, brand launches and moving-image projects.

The studio’s work spans the full moving-image workflow, from VFX supervision, compositing, clean-up and set extensions to photorealistic CGI, 3D modelling, character animation, motion design, editorial and colour finishing. Its automotive-focused 3D department supports vehicle visualisation, while its post-production offering includes offline editing, online conform, HDR mastering and edit and DaVinci Resolve grading-suite hire.

Production capabilities

• VFX and CGI: Matchmoving, lighting, shading, world-building, compositing and full VFX shot sequences.
• Animation and design: 2D and 3D character and creature animation, kinetic typography, title work, design packaging and visual identity.
• Virtual production: Real-time in-camera VFX supervision and an Unreal Engine virtual-asset pipeline, developed in collaboration with Hyperbowl.
• Secure post-production: TISAX-certified workflows designed for automotive prototype confidentiality and aligned with VDA and ISO/IEC 27001 security standards.

ACHT also incorporates AI-enhanced creative workflows alongside its established VFX and finishing disciplines. Its portfolio includes work for Audi, Volkswagen, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Genesis, Škoda, Nivea, Granini, mobile.de and Kikkoman. Originally developed from a boutique post-production house into a multi-facility studio, ACHT now operates under the unified national brand introduced with its 2023 legal-name simplification to ACHT GmbH.
