About Able & Baker
Able & Baker is an independent Madrid-based 3D CGI animation studio and digital-content producer founded in 2014. It combines animation services for international partners with the development of original animated intellectual property, working across episodic series, feature films, commercials, animated shorts and real-time CG productions.
The studio provides an end-to-end production pipeline spanning visual development, character design, modelling, rigging, layout, animation, lighting and compositing. Its character-focused work includes sculpting, look development, texturing, shading and character FX for hair, fur and cloth. Able & Baker also develops technical production pipelines using USD, Houdini Solaris, Unreal Engine, Arnold, Redshift and Nuke.
Screen work and originals
Able & Baker produced the full animation for "The Dump," an episode of Netflix's Love, Death & Robots, in collaboration with Blur Studio. Its credits also include CGI animation for Netflix's Bad Dinosaurs, feature-film animation work on Dragon Rider, and animation setup and production-pipeline implementation for Condorito: La Película.
The studio has created and developed original properties including the preschool 3D series Momochi. It is also involved in the animated feature On the Edge, alongside Studio 100 International, Telegael, Viva Pictures and affiliate Monkeys & Dinos.
Commercial and campaign production
Alongside long-form entertainment, Able & Baker makes animated advertising, branded content and public-interest work. Supported campaigns include projects for Coca-Cola, Arcos, Teka, Erste Bank, Plátano de Canarias, Rovio's Angry Birds Journey and Meta's Horizon Worlds. Its environmental-awareness short Lemon, made for Fundación Reina Sofía and Señora Rushmore, addressed plastic pollution in oceans.
The company also supports co-productions and vendor animation for international studios, producers and streaming platforms, with specialist departmental supervision and technical pipeline work available alongside full-production services.

Leadership and founding
Able & Baker was founded by Carlos Tschuschke ("Chuske"), Ramón Giráldez, Javier Ledesma and Belli Ramírez. Tschuschke is identified as Founder, CEO and Creative & CG Director; Giráldez as Co-Founder, Executive Producer and Creative Director; Ledesma as Founding Partner and Creative Lead; and Ramírez as a Founding Production Partner.
Production approach
The studio describes its founding philosophy as "far away from conventionalism." Its operating model combines animation-vendor work for global partners with the development of original animated IP.
Collaboration
In December 2024, Able & Baker partnered with Ánima Kitchent to establish Monkeys & Dinos in the Canary Islands. The separately branded joint venture was created as an animation service studio and is co-producing On the Edge with Able & Baker.
