AB Positive

AB Positive is an independent boutique animation studio and creative production company founded in 2018 by animator and director Aaron Mark Brown. The studio creates stylized 2D digital animation for original entertainment projects as well as work-for-hire assignments, balancing character-led storytelling with commercial, educational and nonprofit production needs.

Its work centers on expressive character animation, cutout rigging, visual development and story-driven pre-production. AB Positive supports projects from early concepts and character design through storyboards, animatics, animation direction and final delivery. The studio also develops hybrid concepts that combine 2D, 3D and live-action elements.

Selected work

AB Positive has contributed animation direction to short-form projects including Room 20 and Driftwood. Room 20, an animated short written and directed by Anthony Riach, credits Aaron Mark Brown as Director of Animation and has screened on the international festival circuit. The studio’s work also encompasses custom animated shorts and explainer content for educational publishers, nonprofit organizations and commercial clients.

With a small, flexible production model that includes contract animators, storyboard artists and directors, AB Positive combines independent original development with targeted production support for outside partners.
