About 5minlab
5minlab is a South Korean game development studio creating cross-platform experiences for PC, mobile, console, and XR. Founded in 2013, the studio began by experimenting with casual mobile games and early virtual-reality projects before expanding into action, simulation, strategy, narrative, and puzzle-focused releases.
Its work spans real-time action PvP, arena combat, top-down shooters, rogue-lite systems, management simulations, and tactical strategy. The studio provides full-cycle game design and software engineering, alongside 2D and 3D art, concept illustration, technical animation, narrative development, puzzle design, live operations, and multi-region game management.
Games and development focus
5minlab’s portfolio includes the multiplayer brawler Smash Legends, released across mobile and PC; the top-down arena shooter Kill The Crows; and the Korean-folktale-inspired puzzle adventure Rose and Lotus: Petals of Memories. Its later releases include tactical simulator Private Military Manager (P.M.M), restoration game Undusted: Letters from the Past, and mobile inventory deck-builder Overgeared Hero.
The studio is also developing Dinkum Together, a mobile adaptation of Dinkum, and Project Canaria / WPCA, a supernatural hunting action game for PC and console. Earlier work includes VR and AR title Toy Clash VR / AR, spatial puzzle game Brickscape, VR arcade game Baam Squad VR, and mobile runner Como in Adventure.
Independent studio within KRAFTON
KRAFTON, Inc. acquired 100% of 5minlab in February 2022. 5minlab remains an autonomous creative studio with its own legal incorporation, branding, leadership, recruitment presence, and game-development operations. Under KRAFTON’s backing, the studio has continued to broaden its multi-genre pipeline for PC, mobile, and console platforms.
