3D Sparrow

3D Sparrow is a CGI animation studio and children’s entertainment producer founded in 2015. The company develops digital intellectual property and produces non-dialogue comedy for preschool and family audiences, with work spanning character-led series, short-form edutainment and cross-platform content.

Its flagship property, Booba, follows a curious white-furred hobgoblin exploring everyday human surroundings through visual comedy. The franchise has expanded from digital distribution into an international animated property carried across streaming, broadcast and online platforms. 3D Sparrow also produces extensions of the brand including Booba & Loola, Booba: Food Puzzle and The Booba Show.

Animation and IP development

The studio’s work covers the production path from visual development and storyboarding through CGI character modelling, animation and post-production. Its capabilities include:

3D Sparrow operates as an international production business, combining UK-led corporate and development activity with CGI production in the Moscow metropolitan area and commercial distribution support in Dubai. Its content strategy includes broadcast, streaming, YouTube and FAST-channel distribution alongside consumer-products expansion.

The studio has extended Booba beyond screen content through edutainment formats and consumer-products licensing. In 2022 it engaged IMG for licensing and merchandising activity across categories including toys, apparel and FMCG. It also partnered with Blue Monster Entertainment on Booba World, a Dubai experiential attraction scheduled for 2026.

3D Sparrow is the production-studio affiliate of Kedoo Entertainment DMCC, which supports global licensing, syndication and digital distribution for the studio’s productions.
