About 10 Chambers
10 Chambers is a Stockholm-based game developer and publisher focused on premium PC and console multiplayer games. Founded in 2015 by game designer Ulf Andersson and industry collaborators, the studio builds demanding cooperative experiences in which players must rely on tactical communication, shared planning, stealth, and resource management.
Its debut title, GTFO, is a four-player cooperative survival-horror first-person shooter designed around what the studio calls forced cooperation. Players descend into hostile environments where teamwork is essential to survival, combining combat, stealth, exploration, and tense decision-making. GTFO entered Steam Early Access in December 2019, reached version 1.0 in December 2021, and concluded its Rundown content series with Rundown 8.0: Duality in December 2023.
The studio is developing Den of Wolves, a cooperative techno-thriller heist FPS set in the corporate-controlled future city of Midway City. Built with Unity 6, the project extends 10 Chambers' interest in tactical multiplayer design, atmospheric worldbuilding, narrative-driven settings, and high-pressure cooperative play.
Development capabilities
10 Chambers combines game development and publishing functions in-house, with work spanning:
- Full-cycle game production and live operations
- Multiplayer systems, combat, level, and gameplay design
- 3D art, animation, visual effects, and character design
- Audio engineering and original score production
- Community engagement and publishing for global PC and console audiences
The company began as 10 Chambers Collective, reflecting an early collaborative and flat organizational approach. Its legal operating entity was first registered under the name After Impact AB before becoming 10 Chambers AB. Tencent made a major equity investment in 2020, supporting the studio's expanded production capacity while 10 Chambers continued to operate as a Swedish development studio.
With roots in cooperative heist and horror design, 10 Chambers continues to concentrate on games that make player coordination a core part of the experience rather than an optional feature.
