IMAGE Creative Education

Established in 1996, IMAGE Creative Education operates as the vocational skill-development division of the IMAGE Group, functioning separately from its degree-granting sister institution, ICAT Design and Media College. The training center focuses on practice-led technical instruction across digital arts, visual effects, and interactive media.

Curricular Structure and Production Pipelines

Training is organized into technical specializations designed around commercial production workflows:

• Animation and Visual Effects: The curriculum advances through live-action integration, rotoscoping, stereoscopic 2D-to-3D conversion, match-moving, and compositing, emphasizing the technical integration of computer-generated elements into live footage.
• Game Technologies: Instruction centers on real-time rendering constraints, game art creation, level design, and scripting for PC and mobile platforms.
• Design Disciplines: Offerings include Graphic Design, UI/UX Design utilizing tools such as Figma, and Interior Design, where students apply computer-aided design (CAD) to spatial planning, digital floor plans, and architectural visualization.

Through its C.Tech AI curriculum, the school incorporates generative artificial intelligence into foundational digital arts training. Generative tools are taught alongside fundamental disciplines like 3D modeling and digital sculpting to support ideation, texturing, and asset prototyping.

Facilities and Practical Training

To support portfolio and showreel development, the center provides an "infinite lab hours" policy, giving students access to digital computer labs, workstations, and green screen facilities beyond scheduled class hours. Practical coursework is aligned with national vocational frameworks through formal affiliations with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and the Media & Entertainment Skills Council (MESC).
