About École Européenne des Métiers de l'Internet
Founded in 2011 by European technology entrepreneurs Jacques-Antoine Granjon (Veepee), Xavier Niel (Free), and Marc Simoncini (Meetic), École Européenne des Métiers de l'Internet (EEMI) is a private higher education institution dedicated to digital professions. Positioned across creative design, web development, and digital marketing, the school prepares students for evolving technical and creative roles.
EEMI structures its undergraduate training around a common core foundation during the first two years. Rather than immediately segregating disciplines, this model exposes students across cohorts to core principles of interactive design (UI/UX), front-end web development, back-end scripting, and digital marketing strategies. This structure aims to ensure creative designers comprehend technical constraints and developers understand user experience principles before moving into production teams.
Curriculum Structure and Pathways
Following the two-year foundation, students specialize into distinct degree tracks leading to recognized qualifications:
- Years 1 & 2 (Core Foundation): Covers UI design, digital marketing, web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP), and project management, integrated with two- to four-month internships or a two-day school, three-day company work-study format.
- Year 3 (Specialization Bachelor): Pathways include Interactive Design with AI, Web Development with Vibe Coding, Digital Marketing with AI, and Cybersecurity, paired with a six-month internship or work-study format.
- Mastère (Years 4 & 5): Advanced two-year tracks covering UX/UI Design, Lead Developer & AI No Code, and Digital Marketing Data with AI, conducted in an alternance work-study setup.
Integration of Artificial Intelligence and Practical Work
The curriculum integrates artificial intelligence tools directly into design and programming workflows. Within web development courses, the school incorporates vibe coding methodologies, orienting instruction around intent-driven programming with AI coding assistants so students focus on logic, architecture, and interaction planning. The interactive design tracks similarly use AI assistance for prototyping, UI generation, and visual assets.
Instruction relies on project-based learning, hackathons, masterclasses, and workplace immersion through mandatory internships and alternance contracts.
