Role Description

As a Web Tools Programmer, you will join a multidisciplinary team (data, programming, game & narrative design, animation, etc.) focused on exploring how generative AI can enhance gameplay. The team is tasked with testing new experiences with players and providing creators with tools to imagine dynamic, immersive, and surprising interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Conceive, develop, and maintain the interfaces and services of the web platform.
  • Collaborate with production teams (game design, narrative design, programming, AI, animation) to transform needs into simple, efficient, and intuitive workflows.
  • Imagine, prototype, and evolve tools that allow creators to configure, test, observe, and iterate on generative experiences.
  • Develop robust and scalable solutions, contributing to both front-end and back-end services.
  • Gather user feedback, measure tool adoption, and continuously improve the proposed experience.
  • Contribute to technical architecture, software quality, automation, and modern development practices.
  • Conduct active monitoring of web technologies, generative AI, and new development tools to identify innovation opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Experience on multiple modern web application development projects with a good understanding of web architectures.
  • Mastery of TypeScript/JavaScript and fundamental web technologies (HTML, CSS).
  • Proficiency with a modern front-end framework such as React, Angular, or equivalent.
  • Experience designing interfaces connected to back-end services and APIs.
  • Mastery of Python and experience in back-end development.
  • Strong sensitivity to user experience and the ability to design workflows adapted to different professions.
  • Experience with modern software development practices (automated tests, CI/CD, software quality).
  • Autonomy, curiosity, and a sense of initiative.
  • Strong ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary and international environment.
  • Interest in emerging technologies, generative AI, and their application to game creation.

Bonus Skills

  • Experience with C++.
