Role Responsibilities
- Liaise with artists, animators, audio, and VFX teams to ensure game systems are integrated with vehicles.
- Collaborate with other Design departments and development teams on feature creation.
- Identify and develop vehicle systems solutions that do not negatively impact other systems or mechanics.
- Explain concepts and features through clear documentation for use across the development team.
- Balance vehicle systems based on data gathered from game analytics and internal playtests.
- Effectively communicate vision and ideas between different departments.
Requirements
- Genuine interest in vehicles and Sci-Fi.
- Previous industry experience with ownership of the balancing of gameplay features and systems.
- Excellent sense for design and creating outstanding user experiences.
- Experience with game and systems design, including a solid understanding of feedback, controls, usability, balancing, and UI/UX.
- Ability to quickly prototype ideas to showcase their potential.
- Experience in data analysis.
- Skilled communicator, interacting with a cross-disciplinary team effectively and consistently both in person and through text, including documentation.
