Role Details

• Working Conditions: This role is 5 days onsite.
• Reports to: Head of Technology Infrastructure
• Key Relations: Head of I/O, Lead Technologist

The Role

The Technology team is responsible for the design, implementation, and support of cloud-based technology infrastructure and workflows. The Assistant Technologist role is designed for an individual with a keen interest in working within a creative studio who wishes to pursue a technical career. The role requires a candidate who is driven to work in a forward-thinking environment, is solutions-oriented, thrives in a close-knit team, and is committed to quality. The studio provides a personal progression plan for the successful candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot systems and problem solve to help users work efficiently.
• Learn about and support Linux, MacOS, and Windows operating systems.
• Learn and develop skills with tools for IT automation and administration, such as JAMF, Active Directory, Fog, and Ansible.
• Work effectively as a part of a team.
• Multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
• Take direction and interpret/address constructive feedback.
• Effectively manage expectations.
• Communicate thoughts and ideas clearly in a professional and positive manner.
• Explore opportunities to further professional skills.
