Media Molecule is a Guildford-based game developer and part of the PlayStation Studios group, known for titles including LittleBigPlanet, Tearaway, and Dreams.
Role Overview
The studio is seeking 2 Senior 3D Environment Artists to define and execute the vision for their next ambitious project. This is a short-term contingent engagement through staffing partner Yoh Services, anticipated to run until the end of July 2027.
Working Conditions
- Location: Central Guildford studio with a preference for 1 day a week onsite.
- Flexibility: Open to hybrid and remote working in the UK.
- Responsibilities:
- Work with a team of artists to bring game levels to the highest quality under the guidance of the Art Director.
- Work on existing levels within Blender.
- Utilize in-house plug-ins and tools.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Affinity for stylised natural environments and architecture.
- Proficiency in modeling inside Blender using PBR workflows.
- Ability to quickly learn and understand in-house plug-ins and tools.
- Confidence in working on existing content to maintain consistency of quality and style.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience shipping 3D games.
- Strong knowledge of Blender.
Desirable Skills
- Shipped AAA title experience.
- Experience with multiple game engines.
- Experience with developing for the PlayStation 5.
