About the role
We are hiring an experienced product UI designer to deliver hi-fi designs for our phone app:
It will be eight full screen designs and nine uplifts of existing coded screens, plus the motion specifications for the app's core micro-animations.
Responsibilities
- Establish the design system: color, type, and spacing tokens architected for runtime theming; a core component library; a radial navigation component as the signature element.
- Produce hi-fi designs for all seventeen P0 screens against their briefs, including every specified state (empty, loading, error, own-versus-other views, and multi-scale layouts where briefed, the core play screen is proven at 2, 4, and 8-player scales).
- Define the canvas conventions per screen type for embedded character and hero-asset content: placement, sizing, safe areas, and the UI's graceful states while content loads or renders as its static-settle frame under reduced motion.
- Author the motion specifications owned by design: card select feedback, the loading bar, and the play-screen microinteraction set, timings, easings, and reduced-motion variants delivered as tokens for implementation.
- Co-author the character trigger-event vocabulary with the front-end developer, the upstream contract the animation sets are built against.
- Meet the accessibility standard on every screen: contrast proofs, touch-target minimums, reduced-motion parity, screen-reader annotations, and color-vision-deficiency proofs where briefed.
- Deliver developer-ready handoff: design-tool Dev Mode specs and component documentation mapped to the front-end component structure.
- Coordinate with the 3D Generalist on integrated screen moments.
