Role Overview
Naughty Dog is seeking a Senior Producer for the Communications team to oversee project management and production for franchise and studio brand initiatives. This role manages internal pipelines, maintains relationships with PlayStation and external partners, and ensures the completion of various deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Process Improvement: Create and implement practices and processes; identify and implement solutions to improve workflow and software efficiencies.
- Project Roadmapping: Build and maintain roadmaps accounting for internal resources and review cycles.
- Delivery Tracking: Track deliverables across multiple pipelines (physical/digital products, content timelines, events) and ensure adherence to Naughty Dog quality standards.
- Stakeholder Coordination:
- Ensure clear expectations and delivery dates for all contributors.
- Route materials to Naughty Dog, PlayStation, and external stakeholders.
- Proactively track assets, revisions, and approvals to meet deadlines or identify blockers.
- Resource Management: Prioritize tasks, assess risks to schedules, and adjust as necessary to meet due dates.
- Communication: Represent the Communications team regarding project status, updates, and schedules. Build and maintain relationships with partners, stakeholders, and vendors.
- Asset Development (Marketing/PR/Community):
- Oversee all phases of asset development from design through final approval.
- Facilitate collaboration between internal teams and external partners.
- Manage project quality, tasking, resource allocation, and goal setting.
- Break down complex projects into manageable sub-projects.
- Hold regular meetings to resolve issues and ensure common understanding of project scope.
Required Skills and Experience
- 8+ years of experience in production, account, operational, or project management (video game, entertainment, or creative agency background).
- Proven experience managing multiple work streams with diverse stakeholders and approval channels.
- Expertise in project management, workflow, and infrastructure.
- High proficiency in managing large volumes of assets under tight deadlines.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, shifting priorities, and multiple simultaneous projects.
- Expertise in production software (Trello, Excel, Microsoft Project, Miro, Confluence, Wrike, or equivalents).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience presenting to senior leaders and executives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience closing out one or more AA or AAA games.
- Working knowledge of video game production and development.
Compensation and Benefits
- Estimated Pay Range: $65.96 - $82.45 USD per hour.
- Factors: Individual base pay varies based on knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
