About the Role
The Senior Associate Producer is primarily responsible for bringing projects to completion while ensuring quality and meeting objectives. The role involves managing teams, developing and monitoring schedules, and coordinating the ongoing progress of assignments. The position works daily with the producer, team leaders, and management to ensure deliverables are met.
Location: Quebec City office.
Working Model: In-office, four days per week. (Note: Working arrangements may evolve based on business needs).
Responsibilities
- Participate in project planning and development.
- Ensure daily follow-up on production progress.
- Work with employees and team leaders to find solutions to problems.
- Participate in writing the project plan, documents, and progress reports.
- Coordinate and attend production meetings.
- Analyze project progress and ensure deadlines are met.
- Support and assist team leaders in their daily management functions.
Requirements
- Language Proficiency: High level of French and advanced proficiency in English (both written and spoken). This is required to communicate with centers of expertise and corporate functions in the United States, collaborate with global teams, and interact with the parent company leadership.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management and/or team management in the video game industry or other relevant fields.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with a diverse group of individuals.
- Personal Attributes: Resourcefulness, curiosity, and the ability to take initiative.
- Work Habits: Ability to work with structure, rigor, and outstanding attention to detail.
- Environment: Comfortable evolving in a dynamic environment with good stress and priority management skills.
- Interest: Passionate about video games.
Extra Points
- Degree in project, production, or operations management.
- Has participated in and delivered at least one project in the video game industry on a major console or PC.
- Experience with live game services (LiveOps).
