Role Summary
The Producer is responsible for the overall success of an animated production, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest creative and technical standards. As the lead of the production, the Producer manages planning, budgeting, scheduling, staffing, client and stakeholder relationships, and cross-departmental coordination from development through final delivery. The Producer proactively identifies challenges, implements solutions, and fosters an environment that enables teams to perform at their best. This is a temporary contract position with a duration of over one year.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire production lifecycle from development to final delivery.
- Manage production planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Supervise staffing and provide leadership to production teams.
- Coordinate between departments to ensure seamless workflow.
- Manage relationships with clients, broadcasters, partners, and creative teams.
- Anticipate production challenges and proactively drive solutions.
- Maintain high creative and technical standards.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in animation production, including prior experience in a Producer role.
- Proven track record of managing production schedules, budgets, and teams.
- Strong understanding of the 2D Harmony animation production pipeline, from scripts through to final delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously while meeting quality, budget, and schedule objectives.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working directly with clients, broadcasters, partners, and creative teams.
- Proficiency with production management software and Microsoft Office.
- Collaborative, solution-oriented approach with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Fluency in both official languages (French and English) is considered an asset.
