Position Overview
Post Producer - Maternity Cover (1 year)
We have an exciting opportunity for a Post Producer to join our boutique Post Production facility in Soho, London. This is a full-time, one-year maternity cover contract.
Compensation
- Salary: £30,000 - £60,000 per annum (depending on experience)
About Us
We are a small, friendly, and busy boutique Post Production facility located in the heart of Soho. Our expertise lies primarily in shortform advertising and promotion, with occasional longform projects. We serve a wide variety of high-end clients and broadcasters, providing end-to-end post production services including offline editing, finishing in Flame and Baselight, and comprehensive audio services (Sound Design, mixing, VO, and Dolby Cinema).
Responsibilities
- Client Management: Build and maintain relationships with existing and new clients.
- Scheduling: Manage job scheduling for edit assistants and Flame, Audio, and Grade operators.
- Financial Administration: Maintain up-to-date invoicing using internal scheduling software.
- Project Oversight: Manage the full lifecycle of post production for shortform and longform projects within the facility.
- Marketing/Communications: Update our website and upload project examples to social media platforms.
- Facility Operations: Assist in the day-to-day running of the facility and proactively generate new business.
Required Skills and Experience
- Experience: Previous post producing experience in either longform or shortform is essential.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of post production workflows.
- Personal Attributes:
- Highly organized with excellent multi-tasking capabilities.
- Flexible, proactive, and willing to assist the team across all areas.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of liaising effectively with both senior and junior staff and external clients.
- Meticulous eye for detail.
- A high level of initiative and energy.
Working Conditions
- Location: On-site at our London facility.
- Contract Duration: Expected to run from ASAP to May 2027.
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
