Katapix is looking for a Mid-Level Motion Graphics Artist to join our Katapix-RSI Creative Hub in Medellín. We're looking for someone with a strong eye for design, animation, timing, and visual storytelling who can turn creative concepts and static assets into polished, engaging motion pieces.
What you'll do:
- Create high-quality 2D motion graphics and animations for digital campaigns and marketing content.
- Animate typography, graphic elements, illustrations, logos, and existing brand assets.
- Work primarily in Adobe After Effects, with support from Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Adapt and version creative assets across different formats, sizes, and platforms.
- Collaborate closely with designers, producers, and other motion artists.
- Work from briefs, storyboards, and brand guidelines while contributing creative ideas to improve the final result.
- Incorporate feedback efficiently and maintain visual consistency across deliverables.
- Manage multiple assignments while meeting production deadlines.
What we're looking for:
- 2–4+ years of professional experience in Motion Graphics, animation, advertising, post-production, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe After Effects.
- Good working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Solid understanding of animation principles, composition, typography, timing, and visual hierarchy.
- Experience working with digital marketing or advertising content is highly valued.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced creative production environment.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- English proficiency: B2 minimum. C1 level is strongly preferred.
- A strong motion graphics reel or portfolio demonstrating relevant work.
- A valid, directly accessible portfolio or reel link is required. Applications without a working portfolio link will not be considered. QR codes will not be accepted as a substitute for a portfolio link.
