Role Overview
runVT, an award-winning post-production facility, is seeking an experienced MCR Operator to support our London operations. This role focuses on the technical aspects of media processing, quality control, and final delivery within a fast-paced post-production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Ingest and manage incoming media assets.
- Perform file conforms and prepare assets for post-production workflows.
- Execute exports and prepare final deliverables.
- Conduct thorough technical and editorial QC checks.
- Ensure all content meets broadcast standards, including AS-11.
- Troubleshoot technical issues to maintain smooth project workflows.
Requirements
- Experience: Proven professional experience working in an MCR or post-production environment.
- Software Skills: Strong working knowledge of Avid Media Composer.
- Technical Competencies: Confident in managing ingests, conforms, exports, and complex delivery workflows.
- Standards: Solid understanding of QC processes and industry broadcast standards.
- Soft Skills:
- Highly organized with extreme attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with DaVinci Resolve.
- Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro.
