Location and Work Model
- Location: Seville, Spain
- Working Conditions: On-site basis, working 4-5 days a week from the hub.
Role Overview
This role provides dependable, hands-on support for people, devices, applications, and workplace technology. As a trusted first point of contact, the technician owns requests through resolution to help create a smooth, secure, and positive support experience.
Responsibilities
- Be employees' first point of contact via service desk, email, chat, and in person.
- Triage, prioritize, and own tickets in Jira through resolution, with accurate details and timely communication.
- Troubleshoot complex workstation, connectivity, and collaboration-tool issues across macOS, Windows, iOS, and Android; escalate with clear context when needed.
- Handle onboarding, offboarding, and device provisioning/deprovisioning.
- Administer identity and access tools: Google Workspace, Okta, JumpCloud, Microsoft 365.
- Configure and secure devices using endpoint-management tools (MDM).
- Support office connectivity, VPN, meeting rooms, and AV setups.
- Maintain organized equipment storage and accurate inventory records.
- Maintain documentation, runbooks, and knowledge-base articles.
- Use AI tools responsibly to speed up ticket handling and knowledge discovery.
- Spot recurring issues and drive process, automation, and self-service improvements.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of IT support or service desk experience.
- Experience with macOS, Windows, iOS, Android, peripherals, and business applications.
- Working knowledge of Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Okta, Zoom, and endpoint management.
- Hands-on experience with Jira Service Management or a comparable ticketing platform.
- Experience using AI tools in IT operations with an understanding of responsible use, privacy, and human oversight.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and organizational skills; able to work independently.
- A service mindset: empathy, patience, and good judgment in explaining technical topics clearly.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and stay calm under pressure.
- Strong English communication skills.
Bonus Points
- Experience with Jamf Pro, Meraki, NinjaOne/NinjaRMM, or similar endpoint/network-management platforms.
- Basic scripting in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- IT service management, endpoint, cloud, or security certification.
