About Prism Studio

Prism Studio is a Malta-based, independent video game development company focused on building unforgettable, player-first experiences driven by clear artistic direction, state-of-the-art tools and a strong visual identity. The studio operates as a fully remote team of experienced developers, artists and designers structured around trust, accountability and clear communication. They are currently developing their first PvPvE multiplayer showdown shooter, Heptic Arena.

The HR Manager will take ownership of the people function, combining strategic workforce planning with hands-on recruitment, employee relations and HR operations. This role involves partnering with leadership to ensure the studio grows without losing its culture and effectiveness. The focus is on proactive management, improving onboarding, supporting managers, and ensuring the team remains healthy, productive and aligned.

Employee Experience & HR Operations

  • Build an onboarding experience that provides necessary tools, access, context and relationships.
  • Manage core HR operations including employment contracts, employee records, payroll coordination, benefits, leave and absence management, and HR systems.
  • Maintain accurate, organised and compliant HR records.
  • Review HR workflows to simplify, automate or improve processes.

Employee Relations & People Support

  • Act as a trusted and approachable HR partner for employees and managers.

  • Contribute to initiatives improving the employee experience, well-being, inclusion and psychological safety.
  • Develop remote-first initiatives, events and team rituals to strengthen connections.
  • Coach managers on interviewing, people management, HR policies and communication.
  • Use employee feedback and HR data to identify and implement improvements.

About You
