Game development is their core competency, supporting partners throughout the whole process of developing high-quality AAA titles.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Game Director and Game Design team on design decisions for a large AAA first-person shooter.
- Own, drive and communicate the vision for major design initiatives, new features, and major design overhauls.
- Lead brainstorming and playtest sessions.
- Work closely and unify all other disciplines: engineers, artists and producers to design, tune and implement various game design directions.
- Lead complex, challenging, impactful game aspects with minimal oversight.
- Analyze internal and external metrics feedback and adjust design or balance the game if necessary.
- Contribute to prototyping, game balancing and gameplay tuning.
Requirements
- Experience in Game Design for first-person or third-person shooter games.
- Full cycle and multi-discipline development experience with at least 1 title shipped as a game designer.
- Knowledge of 3D level/game design tools and editors, primarily Unreal Engine 5.
- Fine attention to quality and detail, both creatively and technically.
- Strong creative skills.
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and software.
- Passionate gamer with a strong passion for the gaming industry in general.
- Proficiency in English (verbal, written and technical).
