Responsibilities
- Own the design and development of new game mechanics, systems, and features, taking ideas from concept and prototyping through to implementation and iteration.
- Create clear, practical design documentation, including game design documents, user stories, wireframes, and prototypes, to bring ideas to life and align the team.
- Own the live game experience by planning and delivering events, in-game activities, promotions, and content that drive engagement, retention, and monetisation.
- Manage the live content calendar, ensuring a consistent stream of fresh, exciting content while balancing player experience with business goals.
- Use player behaviour, feedback, and game KPIs to identify opportunities, guide design decisions, and continuously improve features, events, and the overall player experience.
- Test, analyse, and iterate on new and existing content, making data-driven optimisations that improve performance and key game metrics.
- Work closely with art, engineering, production, analytics, and marketing to turn ideas into polished features and successful live content.
- Conduct player research and usability testing to understand what players want, validate ideas, and refine designs based on real feedback.
- Contribute to the product roadmap and feature prioritisation, helping shape what we build next and why.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in game design or product design within the mobile gaming industry.
- Hands-on experience working in live operations and managing live game content.
