About the role
Gamer Robot Inc. is seeking a freelance illustrator to create marketing thumbnails for the Roblox experience Blox Fruits, highlighting content from recent updates. The goal is to maintain consistency with previous thumbnails in terms of composition, visual effects, and rendering style. Project communication will be conducted via Discord.
Project Scope
- One (1) illustration at 1920x1080 resolution.
- 1–2 subjects maximum per thumbnail.
- Fully rendered background and visual effects.
- Delivery required as a layered file (e.g., PSD or equivalent) and a flat, full-resolution image file at project completion.
Process
- Work begins with a brief on expected characters and relevant update contents.
- Artists must provide composition/thumbnail sketches for approval prior to rendering.
- Ability to respond to edit requests and revisions throughout the process is required.
Requirements
- Strong portfolio of character/game-style illustration work.
- Experience with dynamic compositions and visual effects (glow, elemental skill effects such as fire, lightning, or aura, and impact).
- Comfort working from a brief and iterating based on feedback.
- Reliable communication via Discord and ability to meet a fixed deadline agreed upon prior to start.
- Capability to deliver source files with layers.
Additional Information
- Seeking multiple artists to provide more options per update for A/B testing purposes.
- Successful applicants will be required to sign an agreement prior to starting.
