Executive Producer
Role Overview
Scopely Explore is looking for an Executive Producer for Pikmin Bloom to join its Leadership Team and help shape the future of one of the world’s leading location-based live service games. The Executive Producer owns execution across the game organization, enabling teams to consistently deliver exceptional player experiences through operational excellence, cross-functional leadership, and predictable execution. Working closely with the General Manager and functional leaders, this role establishes production practices, operating rhythms, and organizational processes that allow globally distributed teams—primarily across Japan and the United States—to operate as One Team. From long-term roadmap planning to LiveOps execution, the Executive Producer ensures that strategy is translated into clear plans, teams remain aligned, risks are proactively managed, and the organization consistently delivers high-quality outcomes.
What You Will Do
- Lead planning and execution across the game organization, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery of the product roadmap and LiveOps.
- Partner closely with the General Manager and Leadership Team to translate the game’s vision and strategy into actionable roadmaps, milestones, and operating plans.
- Establish world-class production practices, operating rhythms, and planning processes that improve transparency, predictability, and execution.
- Create and foster a One Team mindset across Design, Product, Engineering, Marketing, Analytics, and external partners.
- Build strong alignment across globally distributed teams, primarily across Japan and the United States, while maintaining efficient communication and clear ownership.
- Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with key external partners, including major IP partners such as Nintendo, ensuring effective collaboration and alignment throughout development and live operations.
- Develop and grow a high-performing Production organization that serves as a force multiplier for the entire game team.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the overall project, proactively identifying risks, removing organizational blockers, and driving timely decisions.
- Ensure production supports player-centric development through iterative planning, playtesting, and continuous improvement.
- Drive scalable production processes that support the long-term operation of a global live service game.
- Provide clear visibility into project health, execution risks, and mitigation plans to senior leadership.
- AI-Enabled Operational Excellence: Champion the adoption of AI-powered workflows that improve planning, communication, documentation, risk management, and production visibility. Continuously identify opportunities to automate routine work, accelerate execution, and increase the effectiveness of globally distributed teams.
- Office Requirement: Required in-office 3 days per week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
What We're Looking For
