About the Role
The 3D Environment Art Internship offers hands-on exposure to the game art production pipeline. The program is designed to strengthen practical skills through guided learning and real-time feedback within an offline, batch-based setup.
Eligibility and Minimum Qualifications
- Art Fundamentals: Basic to slightly above-basic understanding of composition, lighting, color, and form.
- Modeling Skills: Hands-on practice in environment modeling.
- Software Proficiency: Working knowledge of 3D software including Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max.
- Texturing Skills: Basic knowledge of Substance Painter and Photoshop.
- Pipeline Knowledge: Understanding of the game art pipeline, including:
- Low-poly modeling
- UV mapping
- Baking
- Texturing
- Portfolio: A basic portfolio showcasing environment assets or scenes (student or personal work is acceptable).
- Preferred Qualifications: Basic familiarity with game engines like Unity or Unreal.
